Its definately all about promoting when it comes to company's getting an unknown game out there in the market. Especially a small company like Larian who is just starting out and not exactly wealthly. Ask yourself's this what made you buy Divine Divinity in the first place, I ended up buying it because a leaflet came through my door one day about a week or two before the game came out and it showed some screenshots and listed all the features that the game had and I thought it sounded great and I was into Diablo anyway so the day it came out I went to Game and bought it.

Soon after DD came out it was getting great reviews across the net so that helped a lot too. In the UK on its first week of release DD charted at No.2 in the PC Charts which I thought was amazing, I could barely see it scraping the top 10 as Larian were a small company and I didn't think enough people would hear about it. So I think it has done pretty well here in the UK, excellent considering its Larian's first major PC release but it still didn't get the sales it deserved and hopefully for Beyond Divinity larian can spend a good bit more on marketing the game so more people hear about it. DD is miles better than Diablo and a lot more work has been put into it anyone can clearly see that, so it deserves the success of Diablo.

All I can say is I'm pretty far into DD now and it has me hooked Pro Evo 3, Battlefield 1942, SSX3 aren't getting played anymore cause of this little gem, the story is so damn good and the desire to get a level up is so damn high.

So good luck to the guys at Larian for the future and hopefully the DD series will turn out a big success.
