I didn't finish the catacombs quest until I was at level 20. Therefore, I was able to use George to repair all of my equipment. When I finished the quest then I find George had been murdered and another quest appears. Now my problem is where do I go to get equipment repaired? It seems I've tried all the merchants I can find and the identify icon works but not the repair icon. I've got the level one repair for my warrior class but I don't know if I'm doing wrong or what, but I take the item out of inventory and put on ground, click on my repair icon and left click on item and hear a clang but nothing happens. I understand that it will only repair up to 60% of new but I've got items with a
6/35 and still won't repair. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

First of all, repair works as a spell, so you have to rightclick first and then leftclick on the item.

Other people who repair: otto(blue boar inn), look around the merchants in ars magicana(specially geoff) and dwarvenhalls.

i nevr used the repair function myself, but it's a very useful skill to save some money.
so i can not say anything about , how it has to be done.
you cant do it while it's on your inventorie?

about repairing with NPC's.
try ODO the dwarf in the first village. he repaires also.

Do a search on the word repair. THere are several threads in which this is discussed.

You've got to select the Repair ability, then right-click anywhere in the world. Your character will take on a spellcasting stance, and your cursor will change into a pounding hammer. The select the item you want to repair by left-clicking on it. Repaired!

I have been using it as a spell and right click and then left click on item to be repaired but nothing happens when I do this. That is my problem. I'll check the other area listed and see if I can find Geoff. Thanks everyone.

You can get Otho in Aleroth to repair items.
