Ahh, don't recall this having been mentioned in previous interviews:
[color:"orange"]The Divine One is unable to kill the Damned One as a baby, so the Divine One decides to bring-up and educated the child like his own son. He never teaches the child anything that had to do with might or power, and never telling him about he's origins or the abilities sleeping within him.[/color]
So the Divine One raised the baby, eh? Provided a good home, I trust... married the elf, maybe? So will nature or nurture prevail... the age-old question!
Now the only issue remaining from Divine Divinity is the matter of The Source... (will stay tuned.)
