@ Janggut
Or maybe he has so beautiful eyes that he does not want to share
Sisters of Mercy is a group bearded one and Mother Teresa has nothing to do with them... Only Mother Russia and Lucretia

And I wll risk it to turn to stone. Give us a picture of you!

@ Spicky it depends on what you think of gothic. I mean if you think that gothic is coffins and blood and vampires, then no The Mission are not like that. But IMHO they are with the Sisters of Mercy the absolute gothic groups. And they created a solid base for that music scene. And they never drink blood... If you check some of their lyrics, they look like fairy tales. Nothing dark in there.

The sound they both created was back on 80ies unique and there are many today´s groups that were influenced by both Sisters and Mission. They created a big movement starting from England and spreading all over the world. For me their sound -which is the most important- is gothic.

Now they do not even have long hair... you know age etc... But Spick I think you are very lucky to live in England as far as music is concerned. You were IN the things when happened.

Oh and Spicky, they are not donkeys... Just adorable English men

spick: Lucretia, are The Misssion still "Gothic", i vaguely remember them DONKEY years ago, and The Sisters of Mercy come to think of it.

lucretia: Oh and Spicky, they are not DONKEYS... Just adorable English men.

janggut: hihihi!!

luc, spick was saying that it's been so long since he last listen or hear of The Sisters of Mercy. that's why he used the term 'donkey years', which i think refers to the lifespan of donkeys (which is long enough). & that means a long period of time.

but then, Luc, i understand the way u read the sentence. 'i remember them donkeys' definitely means that they are referred to as donkeys. well, english donkeys, if u wish.

i wonder if that is why faile sighs nevermind.
