BGII – SoA/ToB
Is wholly a role playing game with plenty of challenging battles.
It is not a H-n-S (Hack-n-Slash) game like IWD-HoW/ToTL or IWDII.
Tactics are the key to success in BGII and knowing that you might have to leave something alone for awhile and fight it later when you are more powerful.
What makes BGII so great is the dialogs between you the player and the NPC’s you choose to be part of your party.
I am a goof ball I know, but I was in tears to have to say good-bye to my NPC friends in BGII. They came alive.
