OK, now the game is patched and modded, now I'll just have to get that perfect roll! I don't care for BG1 anymore, that character isn't possible anyway. And Kensai/Mage seems a bit... well, if I like it as much as everybody else, I'll might replay it with a kensai/mage. For now, I go for a Kensai/thief (a kensai with armor suddenly doesn't have crap AC <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />).

Übereil

Edit: OK, here we go:

Human Kensai
Neutral good

Strenght: 15
Dexterity: 18
Constitution: 18
Interligence: A mighty 3
Wisdom: 15
Charisma:18

Profidencys:
Warhammer: +++++ (witht the unnerfed grandmastery installed...)
Two weapond style:+

Btw, Tsel, I couldn't find that katana when browsing Game Banshee. It seems nice, something I could pick up later. On the other hand, that runehammer+5 looks pretty juicy for a main-hand weapond. Crom Faeyr IS my second-hand weapond! Even though it's not second-hand...

OK, just got out in the open air, after battleing through Irensius dungeon. When I came out we met him, and some mages turned out and prisoned Imoen and Irensius! Together! Imoen is [nocando]! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" /> Totally [Nocando]! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/puppyeyes.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/puppyeyes.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/puppyeyes.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/puppyeyes.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/puppyeyes.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/puppyeyes.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/puppyeyes.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/puppyeyes.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/puppyeyes.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/puppyeyes.gif" alt="" />
I do wonder what he will unlock in her though <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/think.gif" alt="" />. I'm going to try to keep of the walkthrough THIS TIME (I allways say that <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />). Erm... He's not going to seriouslly hurt her, right? I mean... Really seriouslly hurt her? Right? Right?... Right?

Thanks Mea and Ub for the kind words. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

You go V_B, kick some backside! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

Don't worry Ub, that thing with Imoen is all part of the main plot and Nothing is Timed in BG2 except a certain quest in the underdark, even if something is mentioned as being timed don't believe it other than the underdark and you are a long ways away from that part. So go out and explore the quests at your own leisure.
Keep at least 3 saves handy at different times and areas.
If you find a quest too difficult, reload and do it later when you and your party are at a higher level.

Enjoy

OK, now I own my own castle <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />. Or, at least I take care of it... Am lvl 9, and is currentlly going back to the first town in order to do all the areas I havn't visited (I've only done the area after Irenicus dungeon completelly, and I've only visited four areas, one of them being the gate).
Read the strategy guide in Game Banshee again (just checking back to it for minor tips), and it suggested I'd go to Watcher's Keep as soon as possible. He mentioned that this is a Expansion area too. Can I go there and still go back to the SoA areas ofthe game? And when is it smart to go here?

Where is it you find the second bonus merchant again? I know of the one in Adventoruous Mart, but where is the other one (and who is it)?

There have been a few mentions of mods for BG but no comprehensive listings so here are a few that should be of interest to people:

Modding forums:
Black Wyrm Forums
Chosen of Mystra Forums
Imoen Romance Forum
Pocket Plane Group
Spellhold Studios - Completed Mods
Spellhold Studios - Mods in Progress
The Gibberlings Three
Weidu.org

A database of available mods can be found at PocketPlane's Infinity Engine Modlist. Notable ones include:

The Darkest Day (TDD) - the first major mod for BG2 which included new kits, NPCs, spells, items and quests. Used to be hosted at TeamBG but is now being updated and incorporated into the Big Picture mod listed below. Since it is the oldest mod, it is lacking in some aspects (limited NPC dialogs, area reuse) compared to more recent ones.
Shadows over Soubar (SoS) - a major mod adding new quests that start after resolving the problems in Trademeet.
Check the Bodies (CtB) - another major mod from the writer of SoS, this adds lots of quests plus plenty of new areas.
Tortured Souls (TS) - a mod expanding on Yoshimo and Valygar offering new quests.
Neverending Journey (NEJ) - from the author of TS, a chance to travel back in time and visit areas like Icewind Dale and Halruaa.
Darkside of the Sword Coast (DSotSC) - the first major mod for BG1, recently updated, adding items and spells, toughening up major encounters and adding a few new quests. Note that there is a separate version for use with the Big Picture mod listed below covered here.
BoneHill (BH) - another BG1 mod, based on D&D modules L1 and L2.
Baldur's Gate Trilogy (BGT) - allows you to play the entire BG1-2 series from Candlekeep to the conclusion of Throne of Bhaal using the BG2 engine including a transition from BG1 to BG2. Latest version currently in beta.
BG1 Tutu - an alternative to BGT, this allows you to play BG1 using the BG2 engine (gaining access to the new character options, etc) but does not allow you to progress into BG2 like the Trilogy does. You will need to export/import characters to start BG2 just as with the original BG1.
The Big Picture - combines 3 major mods (TDD, SoS, TS) with improved enemy AI. Latest version is still under development. There is also a version in development incorporating BGT, CTB and NEJ plus DSotSC and BH.
Unfinished Business (UB) - adds items and quests that were cut back by Bioware, including quests for Valygar and Minsc.
Imoen Romance - considered to be one of the best "romance" mods, this offers plenty of added dialog and options (not all romance-related!) for Imoen.
BG1 NPC Project - greatly expands the dialogs for BG1 NPCs to bring them up to BG2 levels, including extra quests and romance options. Note that an amended version has been developed for use with BGT/BP, see the BGT forum for details.

This is not a complete list (and does not unreleased mods like Lost Crossroads or Return to Windspear), but should provide plenty of meat for those interested!

Nice list, I tried almost all mods for Bg2, Check the bodies and SOS got an update.

I would not recomend TDD tho since it can breaks the game and is pretty umbalanced.

Never Ending Journey is a great quality mod, and certainly deserves a try but is kinda umbalanced too, after I came back to amn the game was way to easy, I had a LOT of gold, also that planescape mace/hammer on the second level of the caves rocked tho >_>

CTB has only one imbalance, and thats the loot of that dragon whos name is too complicated to spell, the best weapons of the expansion is just liying around on the cave in the BG2 campaign

I would also recomend installing Board of magic item pack, kelsey, maybe unfinished business, quest pack , G3 tweak pack with the Big picture installation.

I remember having like 40 mods <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/silly.gif" alt="" /> on my installation and still being able to complete the game without any problems, Ill have to check sometime for the complete list

I saw on a site Baldurs Gate 2 can be played online, people still do that?

Highlly unlikelly considering the game is six years old, and the main focus of it was the single player campaign.

Check the Spellhold Studio thread Reviving multiplayer - you'll almost certainly need to arrange a session in advance with other keen players.

Game age needn't be an obstacle (Counter Strike was released in 1999 and is still popular online) but BG's emphasis is certainly more on single player.
