I also couldn't understand the prices. Only 4 Gold difference ? Huh ? And armory ? a sword only 1 Gold ? Magically enhanced items instead several thousand gold ? Huh ?
I never couldn't understand it.
Anyway, the game is fun, so far. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Yes, you do have a point there about the cost of items in BG.
In fact, every Bioware, Black Isle game I have played,
save for PS:T, suffers from the exact same problem.
The main thing I could never understand in EVERY single RPG
I have played, is the magic items being sold vs. the magic items
that can be found in the game.
I mean why ever bother buying any magic weapon
when you always find something even better regularly in the game.
I have yet to ever find in any RPG a good balance
that takes this into account.
