Anyway, you probablly know more than me (since you've played it). Don't you have a manual? I acually have one for BG1, but much have happened to the second one. According to this one, you stop gaining levels in your old class. OK, I can live with that. Hopefully I CAN use my fighter abilities when I'm a mage though...
