baldurs gate 1 has ways to change your stats by console method
Yesterday I found out (by Tsel. I miss him <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" />) that you need 15 in strenght (that's base strenght, no matter how high it is after items, you ned 15 in base strenght) in ordr to dual from a fighter to a mage (you allso need 17 or 18 in int, but you're going to be a mage, you NEED 18< in int anyway). OK, 9 is quite a bit under 15. It's allso far to the thome of strenght (if it was constitution I lacked it wouldn't be a problem. I've got boots of speed, I could export my char, then RUN and collect them). So, if there is a way to manipulate my stats (15 doesn't give a bonus IRRC. At least not a big one, maybe +1 to hit and +1 to dmg) I'd do it without feeling guilty whatsoever (basiclly because you CAN score those kinds of stats (in theory... My brother sucseeded in getting 18 in everything but strenght, in which he had 16 with a human mage once)).
