Well, a long time ago I posted the first few pages of my comic, but they were in Dutch so most of the people here couldn't read them! So that's why I spent the last few hours translating them, so take a look at it right here ; http://users.pandora.be/Yannos/Comic.htm

Yannos, what scanner are you using? If it's an Epson, see if it improves if you scan as "Black and White Document", it works for me so maybe it will help you too.

How long did it take you? I suppose fifty pages of drawings take quite a while.

Last thing: there's nothing shameful in using a ruler, even if some drawing books say "a real artist shouldn't use rulers". I would reccomend a T-ruler for you. It's a ruler but with a perpendicular band at one side.

No i'm not using an Epson, however if I use B&W with my scanner then alot of
detail is lost, sadly enough.

It took me quite long yes <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />, half a year I suppose? But I don't work on it everyday you know

And yeah, I should use a liner but I usualy draw on locations outside of home/school so I don't always have a liner handy <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
