Has anyone heard anything about a demo for Sacred - or when it will be released in Canada?

Gamespot.com said it'll be released the end of March. I don't recall any remarks about a demo.

@Carrie: according to their forum, the German demo is out, and an English one will be released sometime this month. The game is expected to be available in North America March 23, 2004. Encore Software's Sacred page

In a nutshell, it seems like a game ressembling every good thing from Diablo 2, Beyond Divinity and Blade and Sword:
- Multiplayer and character variation from Diablo
- Interactivity, freedom and the 3d engine from BD
- Combo and Defend from Blade and Sword.

BTW, the name is "Sacred", which directly points to "Divine", no?

Larian intends to make BD work on a p3 600 mhz machine, still with great graphics.
Here, the gfx are not THAT good to require a 1 GHz.

If you can travel to Germany, then you might take a look at the local mag called "Gamestar". They have the Demo.

Ascaron is positioning the game as a D2-competor, and that's what most people think of it, as well.

If you browse around here a bit (in oneof my " - history lessons" in this Forum, especially in the thread about the "Lost Kingdom" ), you might discover that Sacred was built upon the remnants of Armalion, another DSA-based game that will never be (like LMK).
