I don't now if it is the game or me, but i find it really hard to aim in this game. Probably my first person skills have lowered too hard . But the graphics look very good.
And no it isn't too long

Of course, Alrik! The best things come from Germany: Beer, sausages, MP3 format...
Actually Belgium is also famous for beer, among other things are comics, weapons and of course, RPGs
Ah yes: Farscape trully looks great. I never though I'd see an FPS on a tropical island.

yes I'm tending to agree with you all, more and more! but it's a bummer for me tho... my comp says,i can't play "System: Error: VideoCard nVidia (TNT2 M64/M64 Pro) is not supported by FarCry engine" System Shutdown! oh well i've got Arx Fatalis...that i've never played, and another war battle type thingy called Hidden and Dangerous I have yet to figure out how to move or do any commands yet! and it was too late to test out Arx...has anyone else? I know, I know, I need a new vid card......any suggestions? Remember tho, it's gotta work for and

From the late reviews, it seems that ATI has greatly outran Nvidia. My next video card would, no doubt, be an ATI, preferably a Hercules (my current one is Herc too!) even if they are a bit more expensive. ATI cards are mostly cheaper than Nvidia's. At least it was last time I checked .
Jurak, Hidden and Dangerous has 'queuing commands': you just press the map button and you can move your units by giving them a list of commands to execute. It's a good game, I remember I really enjoyed the 2nd act. A tip: Snipers rule the game.

Current Radeon cards seem to have a bug with OpenGL and shadows , for example posted in the Homeworld forum, but also experienced with serious sam by a german mag.

I have played Arx Fatalis, but i gave it up after a time, on the 650Mhz the loading times were too long, and if you have to do one, walk a bit to have another loading time.

As far as I can remember, the load times depend on RAM. I had 256 RAM when I played Arx Fatalis and it ran pretty well. I have a P3 666mhz.

I think Nvidia has caught up again. Last month's Maximum PC put ATI and Nvidia's latest budget (by their definition, US$200) video cards at pretty much a draw on performance (Radeon 9600 XT vs GeForce FX 5700). I started checking other reviews and support issues, but they both have good reviews as well as problems. In the end, my last video card was from Nvidia, so this time I got an ATI. My current system is going to have to last awhile, so I didn't bother looking at the price to performance ratio of cheaper budget cards. My recently installed Radeon 9600 XT 256MB benchmarks nearly 20% below standard in 3DMark, due to my 'obsolete' 1.3GHz CPU. The benchmark uses DirectX features that most games currently do not, and I don't play FPS or flight simulators, so I don't expect the difference to be noticeable for some time. Divinity works fine. I checked out a couple demos I downloaded awhile ago, but don't really have anything to test the graphics. For comparison purposes, I should have ran the 3DMark benchmark on my GeForce 2 card before removing it, to see how it looked. If you can wait a few months, ATI and Nvidia are bring out their next generation of cards. There may be new cards (or price cuts on current cards) around the time of Beyond Divinity's release, but I didn't check that before ordering. Oh well. Endian.net Roadmap has expected release dates of various stuff (March 18 for ATI R420, Q2 Nvidia NV40).
