I've used the Deviance trainer several times and found that the version of the trainer has to match the version of the patch you are using to be reliable. The version I first used was for the unpatched game; Deviance later issued another version (Trainer +8) to work with patch 1.033, and as far as I can tell it work with that patch only. So before we go any further, what game patch and what version of the trainer are you using?

EDIT: If you find that your trainer and patch versions match up, but you just don't know how to make the cheats work, here's the list of cheats:
