GregTtr, First off welcome to the forum. I personally do not know anything about the DAT file. I am sure someone will be along to guide you with that. From my understanding if you keep the Sword in the Stone, you might as well forget about it. You cannot fix it. They are dead. Dead! (that sword was really nice though, huh?) From what I gathered about it, is that you just whomp up on the ghost then replace it. If you do not, the ghost kills everything in the forest.
