I am still playing in my old pc and the game runs fine eventhough it is not patched.
I didn't patch it also. Installed the game and both expansions. I had a feeling that overall graphics in NWN after I installed second expansion improved. Thats my opinion.
How do you like it so far? I find it a bit easy in Normal difficulty, but there is the option that I can change the difficulty so I will try that one. I really liked those cinematics with the black and white drawings. Pretty nice work!

The hardest thing is to choose the right character <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ouch.gif" alt="" /> I have started with predefined, standard sorc., but after I have looked into his stats, I tried to create custom sorc, well, will try more today, so many stats to choose from <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/up.gif" alt="" />. Usually, when I start the game I make dumb but strong fighter. This time wanted to create powerful mage. Who is better wizard or sorceress? The only thing I know now that wiz can memorize new spells, sorc gets new spells with lvlup only.
