@ Lucretia: I really wish I could help but I havent been able to add anything to what everyone else has said so far. I know how much it sucks when a game wont work.
As for the official campaign, I didnt mind it, it was a bit predictable, it wasnt a patch on PS:T or BG2, but still, it was worth playing through at least once.
