FYI, in the stats pane damage range, the damage bonus due to strength is included, though it only applies to melee attacks.

That is because it is not. True Shot and the damage portion of Crossbow Expertise are broke. Before the 1.34
patch, all weapon expertise with a fixed range damage bonus (rather than percentage) were broke.
If you can not re-load, you can use
iZakaroN's SaveEditor (or from
Kiya's site, with description) to remove the skill points you put into Crossbow Expertise.
