Well it's too bad you dont have the flexibility companies like blizzard have with deadlines. If you look at their product, because it is such quality people keep buying it over a 10 year period. Word spreads if a game truly is excellent.
And when I look at DD, I really think of this game as being the best Diablo type available due to it's depth and complexity along with challenge and cool gameplay with attention to detail, rpg essentials that are so commonly missed.
If they pay a team to on occasion fix these things I bet the revenue would more than account for it.
If I had to wait another 2 months, or even a year I would still buy the game. Marketing will only get you so far with blockbuster type games. If it really is a great game(probably Beyond Divinity is), and you manage to get it on store shelves, it will sell itself -- like Divine Divinity did.
It kind of reminds me of Lord of the Rings(on a smaller scale) and the Chronicles of Narnia.
