Games like this were never my thing. Pac Man/Ms Pacman...They hated me! So far I have a high score of 200 and something. Looks like our Larians will be getting cash from me for ! LOL!

I have still a bad score too but it is getting better.
Anyway i did not send it. Too low !
Mslynx, we do not know the rules of the contest.
Maybe the winners should be the 5 highest scores of the week or maybe 5 winners should be choosed randomly.
Don't give up and the game is pretty funny.

Nifty game!

... but I downloaded it to play offline, 'cause I couldn't stop imagining that thousands and thousands of people were watching... and pointing at me... and laughing

RinceRunner, the Uncoordinated

[The good news is that I'll never have to worry about eating Morbo's dust... it will have had plenty of time to settle before I arrive on the scene! ]

Ultimate guide for winning Imprunner.

OK the fist levels are easy. But the real game begins IMHO at the imp village. Small level fast frogs . But if hang true that all a great reward lays in the disstant. The vulcano When you get here with 3 lives you can spend ethernity theire playen. The fun thing of the vulcano levels is that they are too large. the frogs can't find you in time. When I lost all but one of my lives at the imp village I thought that I'd be gone the next level. But no those levels where easy. And one last hint. In the difficult levels try not to catch frog when you eat the big mushrooms. they come back fighting. Just leave them running in the red, just in case. The time it takes that the effects of the mushroom to wear of is much longer then when you get a frog and it regenerated in the cage.

So the main obstacle is getting to the vulcano with hopefully more then one live.

An other hint: get your powerups

The chance that you get power of the gods is worth it.

And on a last note: This game isn't flash, it's shockwave/director. Well it's true that shockwave and flash are owned by the same company (macromedia). Hat's of to who made the shockwave game.

ps: Damm you Dorito of death and Stefan

I think that paying AU$90 is a better option than spending 150 hours of my free time playing Pac-Man for a chance of winning. (Just not a fan. ) But thanks for the game Lynn! Great job!

On cheating: People extract the upload code from the game or they have software watch what gets uploaded by the game, and then create their own to do it manually with any number they type in.

Shirley they would have encrypted that or use a sll connection or they could use ipsec. I think the the best way would be a 3DES encryption or blowfish (just got my exam pc - security)

I can think of ways to do it, and to possibly make it untracable, but I don't want to post them incase it gives anyone ideas. (Thinking more of non-members.)

Thanks for the encouragement Barta. You never know,my high/low score might be the high score for the week sometime. When all the best players have won and are out of the race. I will never give up hope, I just understand my shortcommings and accept them for what they are. I have a question, when you let off the up arrow, does your Imp stop? mine keeps running! Mostly into the arms of a Big Green Death.(is that you, Morbo?) Speaking of, thanks for the hints and tips. When I recieved the "GOD" powerup death was there at the same time. I never got a chance to use it! BTW, Rincwind, I also downloaded mine, I just thought it was the thing to do.

Yup, that's the typical Pacman controls: you press an arrow and your imp will run and keep running in that direction until it reaches a wall (or a certain death or something). It adds that little more to the game, although you don't have to like it

congrats Kejero. It's seem that now I've got to compare my score to yours and then kill myself. (So long coffinstuffers)

Well seems I've got to try harder. And remember Kejero revenge is a dish best served cold. (So 10 years from now I'll beat your highscore)

edit: 10 years is a bit long My dish will be frozen then. So lets make it this week

Valentine's Day... played around a bit with the game and was delighted to see the imp run after his sweetie and smootch passionately behind a screen (very discreet) ... all the baddies just stayed in place until the kissing was over... then closed in for the kill...

Thanks, Larians! And Happy Valentine's Day to all.

I tried Imprunner today but I have technical problems with it. Every time when I got all the mushrooms shockwave crahes.

It says that there was an animation error and shockwave couldn´t proceed. Any ideas?

Like I also said I love the the extra life animation. Very discreet indeed. We all ofcource know what theire doing behind the screen (nudge nudge say no more say no more ). But I like the hints of it. Because for all we know they could be filling in theire taxes .

I've got the problem that the game doesn't fit on my screen! With the explorer window around it, I miss a lot of the icons around the outside.

RinceRunner, the Uncoordinated

Hi Rincewind

I would like to download the game but i don't know how to do it.
Could you give me some explanations ?
Why did you say that thousands of people are watching at us when we are playing online ?

BartaRunner, who has always been uncoordinated too !
