I'm so shoked at winning. This is only the second thing I have won in my life. The first was in 5th grade many years ago.

the 1st thing I ever won was a copy of <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" /> with a contest of RPGDot

I cant believe it!! My yonger sister Rachel won the game!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/party.gif" alt="" /> Thats just too good to be true!

Now thats what i call luck... first i won Divine Divinity in the same contest as Viper, and now my sister wins <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beyond.gif" alt="" /> playing Imprunner! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/party.gif" alt="" />

But the real lucky thing is to have known Larian and its games, and also this forum (although i hardly have time to post here, i´ve been browsing it quite frequently ever since i downloaded the demo of Divinity)!

Wonder if anyone can help...

Downloaded the Imprunner exe, tried to run it and it said I needed shockwave player 8.5. So I downloaded it and installed it, tried to run it again and it still says I need shockwave...

Am I missing something here??

After installing shockwave, did you get sent to a web page with a sample animation, to test that it works? If not, there should be one on shockwave's site. That will at least let you know if the problem is with that or the game.

Yeah - no problem there... saw the animation as soon as it was installed and I do every time I go back to the website too.

Oh well...

Have you tried reinstalling imprunner?

Do you remember the old times when you had some difficulties to play the level 7.
You could not imagine at this moment that you would be a winner !

Oh yes I remember that Barta, I just tried it again and could not get past level 2, but it was fun. I still can't believe that I'm amoung the winners.

The game download is just the executable in a zip file, so you would know if there was a problem with the file itself. Have you re-booted the computer? Maybe there is something in the install that needs to be updated, but which the browser plug-in can do without or work around?

If I remember correctly... i had the same message.
when i downloaded the file and it said Imprunner was installed
it wasn't really! i had to go and get updated as well,
then i played for a while and ...the next day it wasn't installed ...
i had to find the zip and install from it...
then i searched for the exe put a shortcut on the desktop,
and never had a problem since...
...except i still can't get past Level 8. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" />

Hmmm... yes, I rebooted...

Basically what I downloaded was a zip file containing Imprunner.exe which I extracted to my desktop (this was the only file in the zip) and am trying to run it from there... with no luck...
