That's crazy. I haven't played in a month, but just five minutes ago I got to level 10 with relative ease.

Just a wild guess, but try moving the executable to a different folder, like c:\temp; maybe it just doesn't like the desktop (I've come across programs that had problems dealing with MS' special folders, like 'My Documents', etc).

The only thing I can imagine is the problem is that I had to install shockwave player 10 rather than 8.5 so maybe the newer version is incompatible?? Or that the imprunner exe is specifically looking for 8.5...

Keep finding myself turning it off in anger only to be desperate to play again half an hour later...

I just find myself dying a lot. the checkpoint savesystem sucks a bit... if only my PC were a bit better

I hear they will be patching in manual saves some time.

Got mixed feelings about the checkpoint system... it can be very annoying but it forces you to get better at playing rather than relying on luck then saving manually.

For the first time in my life i have reached the level 37 at Imprunner with 117500 points.

I was kind of disappointed that it wasn't on the <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beyond.gif" alt="" /> CD. I DEMAND that it will be shipped with the next Larian Studios RPG ! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/delight.gif" alt="" />

Haven't you ever tried the .EXE version of that game ? It then runs without plugins, but rather as a normal program.

When i played Imprunner during the BD contest i was very very bad.
If you read my first posts in this topic you will see how bad it was.
But playing from time to time i get used to the game.
And now i really play faster so i can save my lives and i can reach a better level.
However i am not a great gamer because i just try to stay alive and not to make a great score.
