Which one of you has played these games:

-Golden Sun
-Golden Sun the Lost Age?

I have played them and I think these are the best RPG games for the GBA. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />
Has anyone comments, opinions? And if you have played them, which caracter do you like most and at which level level did you finish the game?

My favorite caracter: Felix

Levels:
Isaac at level 54
Ivan at level 53
Mia at level 53
Garet at level 54
Felix at level 56
Jenna at level 56
Sheba at level 55
Piers at level 56

Your totaly right. I also play RGP most of the time. You can see how your character grows and there almost everytime a good storyline.
I'm lovin it. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/silly.gif" alt="" />

And also I am looking forward to see Sword of Mana. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

Its like Mario RPG. I'll be honest, I hate most Mario games, but this one is so well designed, and so far away from its platformer roots, that Its not in the same league.

As a hardcore RPG player, I wouldnt have thought I would like it. But the gameplay is so well realised, and so addictively fun, that against my will Im subverted. Its often infantile plotwise, and the humour is kind of dumb, but im hooked, so I guess that says something about the gameplay. Give it a go, as a person who dislikes Mario I can say that its worth looking beyond the characters its based around.

Golden sun was a great game to play actually...now i keep wondering why i didn't finish it..prolly cause i got stuck at the end wich was annoying or maybe i did finish it. It's been a year don't blame me for not remembering it also i only borrowed the game from a friend so i can't see if i did or did not do it. He still has my Breath of Fire advance though and i did finish that one! Most of the times i don't finish games cause i don't like things to end..but that's just me

@kabuti: You sure have to play it. I can recommend it. Also if you get stuck look at this site: www.gamefaqs.com, it is the best site for walktroughs. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

@Mandrake: Hmmm, maybe I'll buy Mario and Luigi Superstar also. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/think.gif" alt="" />

@jvb: Yes another one, how did you like the game and which is you're favo character?

I loved GS and GS:LA. Great story, nice grafics (4 djinn spells). Best RPG on the GBA IMHO. Better than FF tactics. Also You can port your chars from one game to the other. And the 2 games form one story, if you play one you must play the seccond one.

I like the combat system of GS. More grafical then FF tactics. Well it's true that the in golden sun the comat is a bit easy it just better then FF tactics where you go 10 rounds just to put your guys in position.
