With the latest Patch you can trade with almost any NPC ... and sometimes they have Spellbooks, too. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />
Sometimes a poor farmer, he has maybe 3 gold pieces, an apple, and a 5k spellbook for some spell!
That's interesting, i've never clicked on the trade icon with farmers etc, i just assumed they would have cheese and bread and the like. I must try it out. I did find a spellshield book in jorams place at the start.
