ah..good point <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/up.gif" alt="" /> would it be possible to leave a teleporter stone in his backroom and then teleport yourself in there without being caught?
You can try it but IIRC the moment you set a foot inside his chambers while he's at the counter, he will teleport you out, Personally I think it is scripted to do that, except when he's outside listening to the Bard.
