lews, please find out the correct spelling for the movie. i want to look for it. i just adore anime movies, especially feel-good ones like what Ghibli Studio always produce.

anyway, does anyone dig foreign movies? iranian movie like Children of Heaven? or thai horror flick like Nangnak? or even 50's malay movie called 'Keluarga 69' (meaning topsy turvy family)?

a lot of gems out there that we don't know & we keep consuming hollywood fastfood.

The Triplets of Belleville

if you can find it at a theater, go see it. I loved it, best movie I've seen all year, and I could whisper to my mom the meaning of the words every once in a while. though it was just stuff like "non".

I like some foreign films, but nothing scary.

I'm as scared as them as my cats are afraid of a metric ton dropping down on the floor.

unless its Scary Movie.

I remembered the 'family guy' skit of the movie. Made it even more funny.

Is it scary-suspenseful (can't think of an example), scarey-ingenious (Ring), scary-gross (13 Ghosts), or scary-gory (Scream)?
