yup no exp. for killing monsters would be quite boring..I never got higher then level 45 though ( still finished it ) But less exp for killing is acceptable..it would make quests more important at least..
That's a good point. Realism vs. fun.
Shadow Watch gave experience points for almost everything. You had a team of six specialits and had varied missions. A character received experience for:
[*]Going on a mission.
[*]Killing someone.
[*]Opening a locked door. (By key, lock-pick, foot or bomb.)
[*]Rescuing a hostage.
[*]Taking a hostage.
[*]Retreiving the secret documents.
[*]Setting a demolition charge.
[*]Planting "bugs".
[*]Using the scanner (detects people through walls).
So could they use this concept? Any action that assists in completing a quest (now that'll open a debate!) is worth experience.
