Something i would like to see in Beyond Divinity is some kind of charms than would ADD an attack/defense bonus to your weapon(Charms only available to be put on WEAPONS) e.x. give Freeze bonus(4),+10% of weapon's damage,magic damage,+5% stun hit,1% death strike!

OR EVEN add a skill bonus,Magical might +1,meteorstrike +1 Or recovery charm(Adding the charm adds 10% faster stamina/mana/health/hero movement speed,attack speed)

Also i would love to see different reactions to weapons when they have something special(e.x. if a weapon has Freeze bonus,the weapon should be like frozen,blue crystal,it isn't necessary than the whole weapon is like than,maybe some parts of it could be like this!
e.x. Fire bonus add a fire animation to the weapon)

If i'm not wrong i remember all this in DIABLO II

Also i would love to see supportive summoned creatures,e.x. Mage healing you,or cursing the enemies,or shooting fireballs!

Another idea would be to have a small flying creature that will gather the gold that is on the ground for you(Ok this isn't much of a use,but could save you some time...)

In Sacred, for example, you can summon a Unicorn when you play a female Elf. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

I don't know what the Larians will do, but I would be happy if they'd implement similar things. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

Check the last couple peeks of the week, and other previews in the Announcements forum. The latest peek is on music, but the one before it was on the Crystal Bag (can contain up to 5 magic crystals to provide bonuses for the person carrying it). I don't recall any previews going into much more detail than that.

Several recent previews have described a little bit about summoning dolls (the specific example was boosting the doll's resistance to a certain elemental attack, and giving it an elemental attack effective against the creature it needed the resistance for). Once summoned, for a limited time, they become controllable just like you own characters, and you can use your own skill points to boost their abilities, if you wish.

The ability to tame, train and then ride certain animals (With stats and the ability to gain levels) would be fairly unique and good for roleplaying purposes. Think about it thus, a wizard turning his horse into a familiar complete with spells, a warrior training it for power and charging into the enemy ranks, or even a theif training it for making that "Fast getaway".
