I don't know if this was said, I didn't find it. Or if this was in Divine Divinity, because I never played it... yet. I will though. One thing that I like in RPG's is when you hold down tab and it outlines items on the ground and door. It was in Baldur's Gate II. I just found it very useful. I was going to see if it was in Divine Divinity before I posted it but I haven't gotten it yet.
The only thing I didn't like about it was that it couldn't be bound to another key. I used to bind it to the spacebar in Diablo2 because I used to press the 'Windows' key all the time. Another reason for it is that while your fingers are above the F1-F4 keys, you have to dislocate your thumb in order to put it on the ALT key
My thumb would be thankful if this feature could be implemented in
I can finally get rid of this useless Windows key...
If the ALT key can't be reassigned in I'll at least be able to reassign my F-Keys to / - 1 - 2 - 3 ... (If it works too, that is)
Yeah, in the Beyond Divinity demo the alt key wasn't particularly useful. In fact I don't think it did anything. I don't think there was a way to select ground equipment. I would love to have someone prove me wrong though.
It worked in my case => showed potions, keys, bottles, money, loot the enemy dropped. Doors are highlighted faintly in red. It does not show containers though => corpses, barrels, chests etc.
Thanks guys. I'll test it again later. Anyone know if there is a way to select both characters at once and move them together? It doesn't seem that it's possible. If it isn't, it would be a suggestion!
