I think he means Level 2, at the entrance to Level 3; and the Slasher chamber.
With the Skeletal Summoner, try using the Whirlwind Attack if he gets a few summonings out. You can quickly take down a mob with a few clicks of that.
With the Skeletal Guardian, I'd suggest a bow or crossbow. Either that or just bolt for the ladder until you're stronger.
