i can see that everyone here's so open about themselves, even to strangers as almost all of us here don't know one another in real life. this isn't common for me (being an asian) as the norms of my country, people & race are more reserved. not saying or expressing more than necessary.
Truth be told, I'm not a very open person in real life. (please, no one give me a speech about how the internet is real life, you know what I mean. thanks.)
It's alot easier to be open here for a couple reasons
1) It's anonymous.
2) There's no way any of this could get back to her. It's not like you guys are going to go to all your real life friends and say "So, there's this mickey guy on the divine divinity forum who has this problem..." and then it would someone get back to her.
@mickey: I read all the posts and hope i understand your problem right. You said, that your friend was a few days away and after that she didnt act as usual. Hmm, i just have an idea. Perhaps she have other feelings to you? I mean now in a positive sense. Perhaps more than friendship? I know this, it happens to me too. A very good friend of me began to love me after a long time (round about six years of friendship) and couldnt say it to me. He began to act curious. He didnt want to go out with me, especially if none of the other friends came with us. And so on. One day i asked him and he answered honest. It became difficult between us, because i had a boyfriend at this time. In the end he left our friendship, it was to hard for him to see me every day and to know that i love another guy.
Perhaps your friend was thinking about you and her, and she realised that she feels more than friendship to you. If i was in this situation i would avoid the concerned guy also, until i'm sure about my feelings and know what to do now.
If this is the case, then just wait and let her enough time. I bet that she will come to you and talk to you.
I would just like to say, if you're right, you rock and that would simply rock out, though entirely confusing.
