Hey,

I have some troubles with the game. I was wandering around in the dwarven halls and i stepped in to a portal. Then i quicksaved the game but my character did not fully stepped out of the portal yet. Now when i load the game my character can't move anymore and the menu below the screen (you know, the one with your skills, inverntory, equipment etc. ) doesn't work anymore either. The hotkeys however DO work and when i press the c button my character still draws his weapens but he just doens't move any more. I don't have another save game so i'm really stuck. Is there a way how i can solve this problem?

Can you teleport away, either using the teleporter pad or stones? If you are a mage, is there anyone close enough you can try the swap-places special move on?
If you save under a new name and re-load does that help at all? (probably not)

The latest patch gives you (by default) 2 quick save slots.

You could try the procedure in Teleporting Anywhere, via hex editor. Maybe switching maps would get the game to re-set whatever is making it think you are in mid-teleport? Maybe moving close enough to someone to talk to would help, or moving to a hatch or stairs, assuming you can click on them.

Maybe try deleting all of the files in the '..\Divine Divinity\Run\Dynamic' folder.
This folder is used as a cache for the game. Files are created / copied there from the save game folder when you load, and written / copied from that folder when you save a game. The files will be re-created as required the next time you start Divinity.
