Like DATD I dislike discussing politics and religion here. I done before though. And it was fun. The only problem is that some ppl take it to personal sometimes. When we talk about American politics we're not attacking the Americans on the forum or Americans in general. Same for Belgians, Germans, Dutch,... I guess it's more easy for me as I'm an atheist and also don't believe in any political movement/party of today. None of them have my support. I guess keeping distance is also why I'm disgusted about politics and religions. IMHO they're both just tools to keep the public stupid, ignorant and under control. Both have been (mis)(ab)used sooooooo often to justify wars and numerous other needless, cruel "things". Discussing things has no use when both parties really believe in something. On the other hand, I don't see anything wrong in telling others how you feel as long as you respect that others might have a different opinion.
