I guess that Project X is a MMORPG in the Divinity Universe using a larger part of the work on Divinity 2.
What would explain why those two games are developped in parallele.

The 'later' in that is referring to telling about it at a 'later' time. As it's being developed in parallel, there is no way of knowing when what will be released. And I really hope they DON'T make an MMORPG.
