Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Encumbrance Allowance

Now that I am starting to pick up a lot of stuff, my character says he is encumbered. But the number is well below (only 75%) of the total weight allowance. Is this normal? Or is there something else I'm missing?

i would check the items in my inventory for anything thats cursed.

That is normal (can you run carrying just short of the maximum amount you can lift?).
Boost your strength if this is happening frequently, or teleport back to a home base to sell or drop off loot. Check your inventory for things you don't need to carry around, such as food (once the low healing amount becomes ineffective), large numbers of potions, etc.

i think its supposed to happen, its like, he/she's not quite full, but they r a bit weighed down. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" /> hope that helps
