It has been in Ultima since part IV!

You could ride horses in Ultima Part I for that matter... And you also used a time machine, but that's a whole diffrent story...

Um, this tread keeps mentioning the pyramids. But do we know the pyramids are making a reappearance? I mean, maybe we don't get them this time around. Does anyone know for sure? I don't recall a post or screenshot that shows us for sure, and I would think that if we are able to become a <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/riftrunner.gif" alt="" /> that that skill might mitigate the need.

I dunno.

I'm sure there'll be some sort of return-to-base item. Most people are too irritated by having to walk 10km return just to drop off some loot. It might not be as flexable as the pyramids, but there's bound to be something.

I think most of the game which do not have return-to-base are artificially made longer: Divine Divinity was BIG. VERY big. So was Diablo. Larian and Blizzard didn't have to make you walk for days, fighting monsters, just to make the game longer.
I hope BD is as big as the previous title.

In an early screenshot there was something that looked imho much like a teleporter pyramid.
