Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks need help with the General

hello, I need some help with getting an invitation to the castle, and I chose to do it by mercing for General Alix (I think that's her name), but I can't get in to her 'office'. the guard refuses me entry, saying I need an invitation or some such letter in order to see the general, how can I gain entry to her building so I can help fight the orcs? and/or, where could I get such a letter?

P.S. just out of curiosity, am I supposed to talk to the commander at the ruined town first before I see the general?

Did you talk to Seth back in Aleroth? You may need to deliver a message from him to get in.

talk to commander ralph. he'll tell you what to do.
