What is the trick to using split arrows? No matter how many times I have tried to use them, I have only been successful one time I know I have to be some distance from the target(s) but do I right or left click on them or the area around them. I thought I had tried both but obviously did something wrong. I am lev 6 survivor-archer in the catacombs and trying to do tomb number 4. Sure would appreciate some help from you experts.

Thanks

Split arrows are great. They are a right click attack. Take a look at this thread from start to finish and you will find several tips about spliit arrows.

Many thanks, Clegclaw! There were, indeed, good tips through that link

Well, I got split arrows to work more often, but only by reselecting that skill each time. Is that because I only have lev 1 or does that happen the whole game? Rather tedious for someone with arthritic fingers. Thanks again for any help.

Oce you select it, it should appear as your right click skill and you shouldn't need to reselect it each time--unless you select some other skill you need to use in which case you will need to reselect it again afterwards.

Btw for typing outside of the game have you considered voice recognition software in order to spare your fingers? I have used Dragon Naturally Speaking for years in my work because I type slowly; it is a very nice program.

No, I have not looked into the voice programs! What a great idea! This ole 60+ bod can use some help Thanks, Cleglaw.

I have only selected another spell when my arrows did not work a second time, and I always switched it back. Must be operator error How much distance do I need to allow approximately? Maybe the enemy is too close.

If the enemy is too close you will only fire 1 arrow.
I used to be the oldest one on this forum, but it looks like you have displaced me. Take a look at this thread.

hahaha A very entertaining link. Sheesh - I will be 64 in two months! Almost 10 yrs your senior! Never been concerned about age - it is how one feels and acts

Age, however, does not make up for experience in and I bow to y'all's knowledge. What a marvelous help you have been. Thank again, Cleglaw.
