I think I know where the problem lays. When you select all you chars and then attack a enemy only one char actually attacks the enemy. This is because theire is a proirity in the game (see the orange wihte square). They probably did this for when a char needs to open a door only one char goes to the door and not the whole party.

If you press pause and select only the DK and attack, then select only the hero and attack, unpause and now the 2 chars attack the enemy. I had a little problem getting used to this. I was always selecting both mebers at once and casting spells but only one char did the spell. When I issued the attack sepperatly I all went good and nice. This is probably for when you've got 6 members in your party, when you meet a small monster and attack, that not all your members cast a devestating spell to kill a small monster. It also makes you use tactics because you have to give commands sepperatly you think more about your attack.

example:

When I met Fergus with my Wizard/Wizard combo I used fire and water spells to see what had more effect.

When I met Fergus with my Wizard/Warrior combo I noticed that my warrior did not do well and let my wizzard do the talking.

It a bit of a mixed blessing.

btw: First played the game easy that was waaaay to easy, then normal (seem about wright), now lets go hard. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/silly.gif" alt="" />
