I know I have read this somewhere on these boards but did not flag it at the time and now many searches have not helped me find it again. So, sorry about the repetition. I read I thought that there was a little trick about assigning hot keys for skills. Just highlighting it (i.e., split arrows) does not seem to work. Would appreciate any help.

to assign a hotkey to a skill, weapon, or potion; place your mouse on the skill, weapon, or potion and then press shift+an Fkey.

Example: to assign a hotkey to a health potion, place your mouse over the health potion and then press shift+F1.

i think that you can do this with all of the F keys but i am not sure.
