Are there only 3 potion slots?

How does one activate any acquired skill without assigning it to a left or right click? I miss that in DD all my skills, potions, or weapons were available all the time in the corner of the screen if I wanted them to be.

How does one character heal the other? I assigned heal to the right mouse button when the DN is selected and then I right click on the hero, but the death night just heals himself anyways!!

It's not possible to add a skill point outside of your originally selected path???

I don't know how much it's been mentioned already, but the voice acting is quite abysmal, at least from the death night. It's not because of "lack of emotion" it's because it's just poorly delivered, like the lines are being read, and poorly recorded. Every time he speaks I can see the actor recording into a mic. I'll get over it though if the game is as good as DD; I'm already starting to get accustomed to his voice out of necessity.

lol. the DK thing is true for me too, getting used to it.

hmm? no, only those 3 potions are allowed to be shared, i think.

yes i miss that with the skills to. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/suspicion.gif" alt="" />

he can just heal himself, But they actually self regenerate slowly! like 1 point=10 secs.
you need to have both characters learn the heal skill. i think. maybe a higher level?

You know I would gladly perform the voice acting for the Death Knight for free, not that I'm worth paying for <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

so...It's not possible to add a skill point outside of your originally selected path???

And is it really going to be the norm that you can't easily select your skills/potions/weapons like in div div????

I think just health, mana, restoration and stamina potions show up in the shared potion bar. You can open your inventory to use other potions (don't know if you can assign hotkeys for them, but I'd think not).

You can assign hotkeys to activate non-passive skills, though the active skill icon is not always shown as it was in Divinity.

You need to lean party based healing skills. I believe the one available at the start is just individual healing (ie the spell caster).

You need to find a book or teacher to learn other skills first, then you will be able to put skill points into anything available. You original selections only effect your starting skills.

Besides the slow motion of the game I encountered another problem.
When I found a skill-book ( in this case it was an identifying skill), after reading it, I couldn't find back in my skills list that i was able to identify items. Do I miss something or is it another bug?

another thing I noticed was that when you are outside the room Fergus is in and you click ALT Gr, the skill-book he is holding lights up (you don't see Fergus at that time). When you go into the room the skill book has off course dissapeared because Fergus has it. In the beginning I was a bit confused because I thougth there was a bug or something. Is it normal that you can see items people are holding with ALT Gr? Just to be clear, this was only the case with Fergus when he was still in the room and I couldn't see him. Didn't notice it with guards who were holding keys.

Dunkman10,

When you level up create a new skill, survivor should come up (I think it is), then go through the tabs and identify should be there.

Throw 1 point into it and youll be able to identify level 1 reqd items automatically, you dont need to do anything to them other than hover over them.

Hope this helps.

Not sure if its related... but when the doors are locked, sometimes from a certain spot you can see the enemies inside the next room perfectly.

So if I reckon well, those spellbooks we find differs with DD as here we learn a skill but can't use it before giving it an upgrade with next level ( cfr. DD we got an higher level for this skill immediately)

Another question.

Is it possible to do a save as in DD, with a simple keystroke (eg. S)? Or do we have to go always to the main menu for it?

you can use the quicksave function
CTRL+S
or to quickload your quicksave : CTRL+L

Yes, I know I can use CTRL + S.
But quicksave is different from a regular save, when you can name your saved game, as it was in DD
