my fav stratagy in the death scorpion. the first time i killed her i just went down to her and sent out about 20 death scorpions. she has no way to kill all of them.
if that does not work then you could always use my other stratagy. but it olny works if you have a weapon with a frost level.
use the fade spell to go invisible, then poison your weapon, now get right next to her and then just start bashing her head in. that was my strategy.

I ran up to her and whacked her with my sword; I had the warrior's passive Stun skill (Flash Attack might help, also). If you interrupt her summoning of the Death Knight, she keeps re-trying to summon, and never uses Blind or Hell Spikes.

I must admit I had trouble killing her too. I believe she's one of the toughest monsters around in the first chapter, so I took her out quite at lvl 25-30 or so. Just make sure you have a decent weapon and plenty of super healing potions. I boosted my alchemy skill to 4 and made potions whenever I came across mushrooms, so I had about 15 super healing potions when I fought her. Just keep hitting her ( you really should have stun ) and keep an eye on your health bar. I also left a teleporter pyramid near Zandalor so I could get out and healed. The dreadknight I mostly ignored since he didn't really hurt me, I used swirl attack to take him out, so I could keep hitting Josephina at the same time.

and plenty of super healing potions.

Restoration potions can be much better than separate health and mana potions.

Right i seem to have a problem with it as well
The tun-strat seems like an interesting one but i wonder if she is at all vulnerable to spells...if she can take a lot of magical punishment i'm basically boned since i play a pure spellcaster(who happens to be swinging a sword due to strength-charms^^)

She is vulnerable to what she uses (Blind / Hell Spikes), as well as survivor's curse + an elemental attack.
