What top three skills would you assign 1st, 2nd, 3rd to Mage, Warrior, Survivor as you get the experience skill points.

Was hoping for three skills for each. How important are alchemy, repair, pick locks, identify in the game? What order of importance should they be given?

As a Warrior, I can suggest: - Sword Expertise (or another, but swords are the best weapons, unfortunately)
- Stun
The following were my personal choice. The above are "mandatory". - Shield Expertise
- Identify
- Augment Damage
- Augment Defense
I like Identify, simply because there is so much to Identify. I didn't take Repair as I had to drop off loot before my weapons ever wore out, and repairs don't cost much. Paying for identification or repairs also helps the merchants attitude towards you, improving prices.

At least level 1 for Alchemy is useful for mixing restoration potions, though you can get a level as a quest reward. Repair level 1 is very handy (you may not always have easy access to a merchant or blacksmith). I am cheap, so put 2 skill points into it, and kept 3 items with a Repair bonus, to batch repair loot before selling. Lockpick / Identify: I maxed both, though you can get a level or two for each as quest rewards. There are a couple chests/hatches that need Lockpick level 5, and I'd much rather have everything identified as I find it than bringing stuff back to a merchant. Free skills, and spell books you can buy (spoilers)

Warrior Archer Bow expertise, split Arrows, poioned weapon--from the survivor tree. Repair is helpful--1 point only.
Mage hell spikes
Lockpicks--for more loot and to complete certain quests, but not essential. Alchemy--handy, but you can do without it. pickpocket--don't need
Particularly later on in the game you might find yourself with an excess of available skill points.

Sword, obviously
Restoration, good way of restoring hp without potions
Bless - Dosen't last for long, but I Found it one of the most useful skills in the game. The higher the skill level the longer it lasts. For tho'se that don't beleive me just try combat with/ and then without it and you'll see what I mean.

Bless is a VERY usefull skill as a Warrior. It can also bo good to have Aura of Guarding as a Warrior. Unless you use charms also the Magic Shiled can be usefull. Expertice in the type of weapon you want to use should be used. Restoration is also good if you run out of healing potions. IMO skills like pickpocket and picklock is just a waste of skillpoints. If you want the dagger for the holy weapon see if you can find a item that gives bonus in pickpocket and picklock. There's a risk that you won't find any such items though.

Oh, but of course Wisdom is problably the best skill, it gives you great exp points, problably enough to get some lvl-up's just by the extra exp. But on a second tought, using 5 skillpoints in wisdom, will you then get enough level-up's to replace the 5 used skillpoints?

You only get 1 or 2 extra levels maxing Wisdom. This fine as long as you are not short on skill points (as a warrior, I had all kinds of spare skill points). If you would have a use for them elsewhere, then you might have to take a closer look. Wisdom - is it worth the skill points?

Too much math! Guess I'll keep using it, looks like a warrior-ranged need less skills to make it great than warroir-melee, and it worked nice using wisdom when I used melee skills.

If you want to boost stats at the expense of skill points invest in wisdom.

Later on in the game I have discovored the glory of "heaven blessing". This for me has been the most uesful skill in the game by miles, I just wished I knew about how good it was sooner. It bascially boosts all primary stats, and if you get this skill to a high level it can make even the toughest battle into a 1 sided masacare. If this wasn't enough you can even combine it with "bless" which will cause your stats to soar through the roof. Along with "enchant weapon" it dosen't get much better than this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
