for the Terry Pratchet fans, does it matter what order I read the books in?

I read them in some pretty chaotic sequence, myself -- like Feet of Clay before Guards! Guards! and Wyrd Sisters well before I read Witches Abroad. No problem here, nosir. Each book can stand alone pretty well.

i don't know the english title for the book that i'm reading now...but the writers are David and Leigh Eddings....it's with Belgarath and Polgara..quite good books....

Is it Polgara the Sorceress or Belgarath the Sorcerer? The two books tell the same story, just from different views. Eddings is okay-ish, I suppose, but his books are terribly formulaic and repetitive.

Then I gess you mean 'The Belgariad' (De kronieken van Belgarion) that are the 5 first books followed by 'The Mallorean' (De kronieken van Mallorea). The books from Polgara and Belgarath are here in Belgium actually 4 Books . 2 from Belgarath and 2 from Polgara :S

I like the Eddings books . I still have to read the dreamers-series but I gess that wont be for any time in the near future.

The lasr book I finished is Harry Potter 5 . I already started with it months ago , when the english version was released but Never finished it till a few weeks ago . I better waited for some more months so it didn't took so much time untill I could read book 6 :S . I hate non-finished stories.

'Thief of Time' by Terry Pratchett. A relatively new one. (about 2 years old)
Been reading it for about a year now. (I read off and on very slowly )

I actually find it helps to read the books in some sort of order. The witches series for example.

" Road rage, air rage. Why should I be forced to divide my rage into seperate categories? To me, it's just one big, all-around, everyday rage. I don't have time for distinctions. I'm too busy screaming at people. " -George Carlin

French literature has given the world some realy diamonds over the centuries. I wish all french books could be translated in Greek.

At the moment I am reading Scared stiff - Ramsey Campel

Anywho, there was a Discworld adventure game. It's very old, I think, and I have never been able to get my hand on it. A Discworld RPG would rock the hitzouse, though.

Ive taken a holiday from Fantasy. I just finished "Not a Penny More, Not a Penny Less" and "Shall We Tell The President" by Jefrey Archer. The good Lords polictal indiscretions aside (Which I dont personally give a stuff about) the man tells a good tale.

Apart from that I bought the boxed set of the Icewind Dale Trilogy by R.A.Salvatore. I havent read it in many years and look forward too it.

*winces slightly at the mention of the Drizzt novels*

I'm a bit burned out on fantasy, too. Which is why I'm reading the Dune series and tapping into Star Wars novels.
