I don't like it because it's poorly acted. Like I've mentioned before, even lack of emotion is something that is conveyed through skilled acting, same thing with boredom. I hear a regular sounding guy reading lines from the script. I hear no acting, and I'm not convinced that this is the character's voice.
In spite of all that, I think there SHOULD be emotion in the death night's voice. With all those opinions of his, the dialog conveys personality and emotion, but the acting does NOT. It just doesn't work.
