In spite of all that, I think there SHOULD be emotion in the death night's voice. With all those opinions of his, the dialog conveys personality and emotion, but the acting does NOT. It just doesn't work.
Well said... I sense emotions in his dialogs, too, so that it is actually a wrong argument to say that the voice can or even has to be without emotion. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/exclamation.gif" alt="" />
When I first heard the voice, I thought of the infamous computer voices... those "mechanical", computer generated voices which the great text reading programs use for reading out written text. It almost sounds as if the voice actor has had a list with all the words used in the game and then has recorded them one by one... and then those words has been combined and attached to the dialog lines.
