No matter what the cause is it still makes me mad to see so many people bleed in the streets. I mean imagine that people. It could happen to every one of us. One morning you get up to go to work, you get in a train and you end up dead or in a hospital

Those attacks makes me so worried about. In few months Olympics is going to take place here. We are all very happy about that here in Greece. And we have worked very hard for that. But I fear so much for all those people who are going to visit my country. It is a big event. American Embassy is just few blocks away from the stadium. I am so concerned.

I think a lot of people probably disagreed with Canada (though our stupid Prime Minister is gone - only to be replaced with another....) not backing the US in Iraq...

Improving security to combat terrorist attacks is one thing, invading another country for a ficticious reason is another thing entirely. Canada was right not to back Bush in his personnal vendetta. I'm glad I was right too, there were no WMD..... At least not on the Iraqi side.

So true womble. Its a shame that theire is no world wide action (with the UN in charge) to handle terorism.

But there is.
New policecorpses and all.

It's probably why terorism is going so well.

This is the sad thing about it: ppl die every day, because of age, starving, war etc. But only when western ppl die the world reacts on it?

I say: Don't attack terrorism, attack the reasons of terrorism.

i find it "strange" that people found a van a town further away whith explosives AND an Arabic-language tape with Qur'anic verses.
Why would this van stand there for the taking with detonators inside of them?

Could it be that this is a setup?
From an unknow organisation, wich purpose is to strenghten the tensions between the west and the east?
With all the secrecy of these days everything is possible....

it shows how messed up our world is. why wont people just leave each other alone? or be nice. no need to attack some train, that doesn't help much.

let's hope all of us will be as stubborn as the terrorists to not submit to fear & hate that they're trying to spread, in hope that war will really break out & that they'll win(or so they thought).

for Luc's safety & that of others in greece, i hope olympics won't be marred by painful incidents like this.

let's be kind to everyone u meet in life & maybe, maybe we may change the outlook of that person who may be a potential terrorist.

That is so great thought Jan

I work in a Tower (the only one in Greece), one block away from the stadium and the American embassy...
I really pray that not innocent people get hurt.

Al where is your Olympian spirit? The buildings are not important. From the begining of time athlets were competing for just an olive tree branch The spirit of kind and honest competition is important

And frankly I need those buildings torn apart or finished after all... I am so tired to see Athens roads to be like huge holes

Well, after suffering years of indignant murder from the IRA terrorists don't bother me much.....
