Twice now I have found an item "of Elements". First time a diamond ring, second time Heavy Chain Boots. In the first game I played, I sold the ring and was very surprised at the amount of money I got for it, considering that it showed no attributes at all (purely ornamental?!?) but I figured it may have rolled a 0 for whatever it's supposed to do so what the hey ....
Much later now I am running another character, and Gero sold me these Heavy Chain Boots of Elements. 48000 goldpieces plus some change ... and, again, they don't seem to have any effect whatsoever. Identify shows nothing, and after putting them on my character stats are unchanged (in fact worse, since my previous boots had some resistance to poison or some such).
Is this a fluke, or some leftover dead bit of code 'being funny' or what should I make of it?
