plus, all the growth hormones and antibiotics that are given to animals (meat or dairy) are being ingested by people, and thats not good for them. i have a theory that that is a major factor in why kids are so fat and sick these days. (the other major factor is too much junk food and video games. )

T. Colin Campbell's landmark research in "The China Project" found a pure vegetarian (i.e. vegan) diet to be the healthiest diet. Dr. Campbell estimates, "...80 to 90% of all cancers, cardiovascular diseases, and other degenerative illness can be prevented, at least until very old age - simply by adopting a plant-based diet."

You're not against dairy products. Your real complaint is about the meat industry.

Milk is healthy. Very healthy even. No one can deny that.
The problem is that the western world is fixed on cow milk.
Cow milk is really to fat and contains to much protein to be consumed by humans.
That doesn't make milk bad. The problem is humans, who have a whole industry set up around cow milk. And want $$$ from that. I wouldn't advice cowmilk for any baby. Becouse babies aren't so strong anymore and becouse cowmilk is to rich anyway.
I have drunk sheepmilk, goatmilk, sojamilk, powder milk, ...
But I leave monkeymilk up to you if you don't mind.

I'm against the meatindustry too. I do like a steak or bacon, ... . But we get our meat from ppl who have some animals at home. Retired ppl who keep animals more as a hobby. A couple of cows, a pig or two, a couple of goats, a dozen chickens, a few wabbits , ... You know the type?
I have a freind who's a vegitarian. I just love the stuff she makes at home. Very yummy.
I been in slaughterhouses , and I also seen what they do to geeze to make their livers grow extremely big .
It's disgusting.
But humans are made to eat meat, fish and vegies. You can do without meat these days. Becouse there's enough to replace it. But you will need to balance your diet, as you probably know.
Milk and meat aren't bad. It's humans who turn them into something bad. As always.

interesting, BUT: 1 glass of red wine per day does decrease the chance of getting alzheimer's desease by 85%. and it has not been proven to be unhealthy.
Milk.... well.... it just tastes bad.

I read different versions of that Alzheimer story too.
It's never really proven that wine has that efect. How can you prove something like that? They don't even know enough about Alzheimer disease itself to be able to really prove anything about it.
Alzheimer is different for everybody.
It's just another fairytail to sell more wine. Even if it would help, you still would have to think about the alcohol and if the bad efect it has on your body and brain would justify the little good it might do against Alzheimer.
Besides... regular drinking is the best way to get addicted. Even if it's only one glass a day.

Milk taste bad????
There are so many differend milks available now that there has to be one you like.
And think of all the related products: milkshakes (dozens of flavors), hot coco,...
20% of what you eat contains milk or a similar product. If you don't eat to much junkfood and have decent meals regularly ofcourse.

You probably mean milk from the cow. In bottles or boxes. Right from the shop.
Ever tried drinking milk straight from a cow?
Or milk from other animals? Or sojamilk?
