Pardon the trollike subject line. But this game is very unbalanced.

Why do I find 2 axes in the very first dungeon that are not usable until I'm at least 15th level or so? They both need strength 65. I am now level 15 and my warrior's strength is about 50--if I maxed out sure I could have 65 strength but would never be able to hit or dodge.

Why are minor boss monsters almost impossible to kill? For example, try raiding an orc settlement. I can now butcher heavy orcs and most other kinds of orcs, but the big orc bosses can not only kill me, but just one can kill every single one of the guards on the entire map as well--I've led one on a tour and he had a great time! One hit, and I'm pretty much done.

What's with "hit and run" being the only tactic that works? It's no fun playing an epic warrior who has to pick off the bad guys from a distance, run away, shoot some more, etc. All the while there is a line of orcs or skeletons following me around the map like a tank blitz in command and conquer. I sometimes feel like I'm in Warcraft-world but I'm the only unit on the map.

What's with the overpowered boss attacks and the player's lack of hitpoints? I have a low constitution because I wanted to use bigger weapons, but my vitality is only like 150, which would allow *me* to kill *me* in only 2 hits. I sit there and do hundreds of points of damage to some monsters and their life bar is still nearly maxed out.

Hmmm...I'm gonna go back to Morrowind...I really *want* to like this game, the graphics, music, and detail, but it's so ANNOYING. Do Europeans like to torture themselves? For some reason it's always European games whose difficulty is so unbalanced...
