1. Where is a good merchant to unload all of this excess crap that I pick up without having to walk... thats right walk back to the dwarf in the healer village
2. Involving Balin's stolen necklace, if I accept that quest and give him the necklace back after taking it... does Jona or whatever his name was die? and if he does can I still get the 13k exp and 3 rep points?

I'll come up with more later the rest are skipping my mind

When you find the necklace, you can confront Jonas about it, who will ask for your help. You can then choose to kill Balin or return the necklace, in which case Jonas is immediately killed.

alright that makes sense
I remember my other questions now
After talking to the trader in the Blue Boar Inn ( I think thats what it is called) and you buy all that fake crap off of him and he gives you the trader's toungue skills point, is there any reason whatsoever for keeping that stuff?

If anyone found a lvl 5 identify dagger in the mage's shop in the merchant area or whatever, do the guys you're facing freeze about 75% of the time you attack, then after you kill them the blue goes away, but they keep standing for a few seconds and even turn if you walk in a different direction before falling down to die?

When you move down to find Mitox... was that his name?... and you enter that tent camp and those wizards or whatever they were turned everyone against you, is there any benefit from that besides the exp points i.e. you tell some one what happened and they say something or another

.... ahh crap I cant remember the other one now
my memory sucks I'll get back to you

It's because they are not very bright, so they don't know they're dead yet, and then it dawns on them what just happened and they keel over ... <grin>

Seriously, I've had the same effect. Some of it may have to do with s.th. like this: you keep dealing damage until it reaches 0. But it's still frozen, so it doesn't keel over. Then it thaws (displaying the thawing animation regardless), it seems to get dealt another bunch of damage by the frost spell sometimes (if you've cast one) and then it falls over. Something like that. I'm sure it has to do with how the program evaluates (in which sequence) what graphic display to use ...

I kept those useless items, but there is no need to do so.

The stats on that dagger, and everything else, are random. I avoided Frost on weapons, and did not notice that problem with the Frost sword I tried briefly. It does seem like just a timing issue, though.

You can not help them or tell anyone about the situation, though after you kill them, the billboard in front of the castle is updated. You can simply avoid the camp until after you meet one of the 3 mages, after which the spell will be broken. I opted to take the experience points, since there were no negative consequences to killing them.

The answer to your other question is 42.

42 is the answer to life, the universe, and everything, as per Douglas Adams' book "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy". I meant that answer in reference to the question you could not remember, so that was what the <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/silly.gif" alt="" /> was for.

Try Mozilla.
Mozilla is far superior to internet explorer

The question is not, Can they reason? nor, Can they talk? but, Can they suffer?
